As much as dogs need physical exercise they also need mental stimulation. In my opinion, the more you exercise your dog mentally the better behaved your dog will be. Mental exercise tires them out leaving them with less energy for naughty behaviours, like reorganising your living room or barking. So everyone wins!
We use simple nose games at the day care to provide some controlled brain games for the dogs. They get mentally stimulated when interacting with other dogs too, so don’t be surprised if your dog comes home exhausted. It’s the good kind of tiredness!
