Behavioural Assessments in our Dog Day Care
Because we want to make sure everyone is having a great time, your dog will need to complete a behavioural assessment on their first visit.
The assessment takes about 20 minutes. During this time our trainers assess and monitor your dog’s behaviour alone and with the pack, with toys & treats. As a result we’ll get to know your dog as well as possible. Provided the assessment is passed, you are welcome to leave your pooch with us for the day or book in later.
Morning Walks & Supervised Playtime
Mornings in our dog daycare center start with a group walk to the nearby park. There the dogs can have a nice sniff around before heading back inside to play with others. All of our staff members are experienced dog walkers, handlers and trainers with experience in working with dogs. Therefore you can be sure nothing bad happens on our adventures outside. However, easy walk harnesses ensure safety and comfort for everyone.
We pride ourselves to keep an eye on the dogs at all times and supervise all playtime at our doggy day care in Sydney.
In our dog daycare we provide mental stimulation through small training and play sessions throughout the day. Your dog will have unlimited access to toys and ball games with us on a daily basis.
Your dog gets a little bit of rest too by laying down on comfortable dog beds cuddling with us.

Our Dog Day Care Facilities – Daycare for Dogs Sydney
Our dog daycare in Sydney is fully air-conditioned so that you’r dog’s comfortable at any time of the year. We have three big separate play areas and one smaller time-out area which will ensure your dog is having a great time. Each dog is assessed and placed in a play pen based on their size and temperament.
Time-out area is used for resting and preventing over excitement when needed. All of our pens can also be opened up to form one huge area.
Each playground is equipped with a number of toys, agility equipment and comfortable couches for the dogs.
All our dog day care pens are secure and safe, so you know that your dog will be safe and sound while staying with us.

Here at Puppy Playground Doggy Day Care we value the safety of all our furry friends and staff. This is why we have a number of safety procedures in place.
We understand that in a dog daycare a love for dogs isn’t enough, you also need qualifications to understand animal behavior. Our staff is professional and experienced in animal handling and provides reliable and impressive Dog Day Care Services in Sydney. We have Pet First Aid qualified staff members and canine behaviorists and trainers in every day.
We use only positive reinforcement and distractions like high pitched sounds and treats to control the pack if needed. All pens and equipment are cleaned and disinfected daily using F10 vet grade disinfectant.
Our Dog Daycare rules
First of all you need to bring a copy of your dog’s current vaccination certificate on your first day. This is to ensure the health and safety of the pack.
All Pooches at Puppy Playground must be desexed. Due this we only except undesexed puppies up to the age of 6 months.
Above all we value safety and comfort of everyone so we do not except any sick or injured dogs to enter our dog day care.
