BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT POLICY PUPPY PLAYGROUND SYDNEY

We want everyone at Puppy Playground dog day care to enjoy themselves and that’s why safety is our top priority.

All dogs must be assessed by one of our dog trainers before gaining an access to the day care (behaviour assessment).

Here are some of our principles to ensure that everyone has a great day out at our care:

• We do not allow aggressive or fearful dogs

• We do not allow aggressive play, barking, or dominant behaviour.

• We reserve the right to remove a dog from our care at any time.

WALKING POLICY PUPPY PLAYGROUND SYDNEY

We make sure that every dog is wearing an Easy Walk harness on our walks. They also wear collars, identifying the dog with phone number before they leave the day care.

1. We never send more than four dogs out on a walk unless we have more than one walker joining them.
2. We make sure that all dogs are on a leash and controlled by a walker at all times. We don’t walk the dogs off-leash.
3. Our dog walkers carry a mobile phone with them at all times. Manager is notified immediately if any dog is injured or attacked, attacks another dog or a person or becomes unwell or lost. The day care will then notify the dog’s owner and the relevant authorities (such as Council rangers on 0412 718 611) and advise next steps.
4. We maintain our cleaning policy when we are out and about.
5. We reserve the right to refuse walking a dog.  This will happen if a dog can’t be walked on the leash or with other dogs, is injured, sick or severely overweight, shows aggressive or unpredictable behaviour outside or/and is potentially harmful to the walker, other people or other dogs outside.
6. We reserve the right to refuse walking puppies under 6 months old.

Cancellation Policy Puppy Playground Sydney

We require 24 hours’ notice on grooming and training bookings and 48 hours’ notice on puppy school.

No refunds on pre-paid services (day care packs, training packs, puppy school) if cancelled later than the notice requires, service has already been provided/started or for the change of mind.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY 

In Applying for my dog to attend Puppy playground Dog Daycare I acknowledge and agree that:-

1. I represent that I am the legal owner or authorized guardian of this/these dogs.
2. In admitting my dog for services, I represent that my dog is in good health, is current on all required vaccinations and is free of fleas, ticks, and lice, and as not been ill with any known contagious viruses in the last 30 days.
3. I understand that Puppy Playground is a cage free environment and although all dogs are fully supervised I accept that the inherent risks associated with such an environment including but not limited to transfer of communicable illness, injuries occurring from playing with other dogs, which include bites, scrapes, scratches, and sprains and behavioural problems.
4. I represent that my dog is sociable and has not harmed or shown threatening behaviours towards any person or any other dog. I understand Puppy Playground reserves the right to remove my dog from the play area and place my dog in a separate holding area should my dog display any unwanted behaviours.
5. I understand that Puppy Playground reserves the right to permanently remove a dog from its daycare facilities at any time.
6. I am solely responsible for any loss, damage or harm caused or contributed by my or my dogs while it is attending Puppy Playground.
7. While my dog(s) is in the care of Puppy Playground in the case that I cannot be contacted I allow Puppy Playground staff to contact my veterinarian or any other accessible vet clinic as deemed necessary should any injuries require medical attention. I agree that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses acquired for my dog.
8. I agree to disclose any previous or current medical issues or concerns of my dog so that Puppy Playground staff can make a determination of suitability for daycare.
9. I release Puppy Playground Dog Daycare Pty Ltd from any liability should my dog injure another dog or person and accept medical and legal responsibility for my dog’s actions.
10. I agree that my dog may be recorded on camera and its images may be used for Puppy Playground promotional material.
11.  I agree to pick up my dog prior to closing time.  Should I fail to do so I understand I will be charged late fees in the amount of minimum of $15 up to 15 minutes and $1 per minute for every minute up to 7pm. I understand that dogs left after 7pm, I will be charged $60 in addition to the daycare fee to account for the late fee plus overnight boarding fee.
12. I agree to pay for any and all outstanding charges prior to or at time of pickup of my dog.
13. I will abide by all the condition set out in this waiver & release of liability, and all other rules and regulations placed upon me or my dog(s) while attending Puppy Playground. Rules and Regulations are on display at point of entry into Puppy Playground and are subject to change without notice.

I hereby Release Puppy Playground Dog Daycare, its employees, sub-contractors, external services providers from all liability and indemnify Puppy Playground Dog Daycare Pty Ltd from any and all claims of every kind and nature what so ever, arising directly or indirectly from my dog(s) participating in activities or use of services, including legal claims and medical expenses.
